The Adapt IT Public Sector – Governance office is looking for a professional and highly organised office assistant to handle governance, compliance & administrative tasks on behalf of the Business unit.


Primary Responsibilities for the Role

  • Assists the Governance manager with general office administration and related tasks
  • Assists with archiving of sensitive information and administrative activities relationg to Protection of Personal Information Act.
  • Maintains and keeps information confidential
  • Assist New Markets (East Africa, Botswana) with compliance checklist
  • Assist with Supplier Vetting Process and ongoing compliance checks
  • Assist with the management of supplier onboarding in liaison with the Finance department
  • Assist Governance Manager with all reporting requirements
  • Assist Governance Manager with Public Sector audit preparations
  • Keep record and monitor expiry dates of all Public Sector & Group compliance certificates in liaison with Bid Office
  • Assist with training preparations, venue booking and related tasks
  • Execute all tasks related to project delivery governance, sales and bid management


Minimum Qualification and Experience Requirements

  • Matric
  • Higher Diploma in Administration/Secretarial Assistant/ related Degree
  • 2 years’ experience in an administrative/executive assistant/ or related role
  • Demonstrated ability to interface successfully at multiple organisation level
  • Must have Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
